production/process/plant operator

Diligent and competent professional with experience in overseeing Plant Commissioning/oil well head/ field/ control room board operations in conformance with regulations, organizational procedures and established industry practices.

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of around 25 production oil well head (LUFKIN WELL MANAGER VSD RPC). Manage casing gas collector, gas dehydration, gas separator, knock out drum, flare 14’’ w.c, progauge automatic well tester.
• Monitor the functioning of manifold, group line tester unit. Instrumental in tracking, managing and documenting output by using surface and down hole equipment.
• Coordinate in evaluating and recording well head and down hole pressures and temperatures regularly. Assess the fluid output on a need basis.
• Oversee plant unit operations based on an automated process (Allen Bradley P.L.Cs & RS Logix).
• Handle flow, level, pressure and temperature controllers. Ensure utilization of cascade controller, intelligent loop process controller, temperature scanner, PLC, DCS operation.
• Facilitate the clearance of the active alarm under instruction from the Supervisor. Allocate work to operational personnel.
• Leverage Allen Bradley P.L.Cs & RS Logix HMI emergency operations procedure to facilitate safe commissioning/shutting down of the process plant.
AREA OF EXPERIENCE

Oxidation plant, Distillation plant, Sulfur Recovery unit, Utility Plant, Tank form, Offsite, Crystallizer plant. Dehydration plant, Flare system. Air separation unit. Refinery Jetty operation.
