Operational Support Senior Geologist for IPM in the Mesozoico-Alianza Project / Tertiary and PEMEX (External Client)
Operational geological support to IPM's wells drilling operations.
Monitoring wells drilling in real time using the Petrel tool v13.0/Interact in order to prevent associated geological risks previously determined by the Predrill Team and avoid no productive time NPT to IPM.
Attendance to Pre Spud Meeting in site every beginning of well drilling stage in the Mesozoico-Alianza and Tertiary Project according with the standards of IPM-SLB to explain associated geological features.
Perform the drilling geological prognosis including expected lithology, tratigraphy and main tectonics features.
Makes recommendations and geological risk predicts previous and during drilling wells to ensure the casing point stability according to geomechanic’s analysis and achieve IPM’s planned target.
Prepare a Final Report (EOWR) of all relevant data obtained during the drilling of a well.
Attendance to well drilling daily report meeting to Mesozoico-Alianza and Tertiary Project.
Meet weekend on duty twice a month to IPM’s well drilling operations.
Inform to IPM the wells drilling monitoring through stratigraphic-structural and seismic 3D/2D sections into Petrel v13.0 by including well logs, LWD, lithological descriptions (masterlogs), well completions, gas event, stuck pipes, drilling break, etc.
Monitored Oil Fields in Mesozoico-Alianza Project: Teotleco, Juspi, Mora, Costero, Bricol, Pareto, Pijije, Navegante, Puerto Ceiba, Sen, etc. Carbonate rock deposits.
Monitored Oil Fields in Tertiary Project: Tokal, Tupilco, Tintal, Caraballo/Panal/Tanayal, Ayacote, Ogarrio, Rodador, Rabasa, Siní, etc.
Comply with Schlumberger policies, standards, and procedures.
Perform audits on site to Geoservices′s mudlogging unids.

BS degree in Geological Engineering

Computer Skills:
Operating systems known – Windows 95/98 & 2003, DOS.
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledges of Geoframe and basic Landmark.
Knowledges of Petrel.
Fundaments UNIX System.
