For two decades I was an owner/manager of a highly successful manufacturing and repair and maintenance facility dedicated to the heavy oil, gas, mining and core industries, an area in which there are few second chances. I firmly believe in multi-tasking, long and short term planning, development, scheduling of work and supervision of employees with an emphasis on innovation and motivation. I’m an accomplished machinist and welder of specialty equipment who served his apprenticeship under the founder of the program in Colorado. I’ve extensive knowledge in metal forming, forging, casting, welding and machining, mechanical and industrial repairs and replacements.

I’ve managed crews numbering into the sixties who, without exception, worked in a comfortable yet accountable environment as an autonomous results-oriented team. No matter the employer, acting proactively. I’ve managed crews in the largest surface mines in Colorado and Utah as well as underground facilities such as Union Carbide. I know the equipment.

My ability to think on my feet is documented as I have been granted patents for my ability to solve difficult problems on demand. In addition, I am the recipient of the Queens Award, England for my excellence in Engineering. I’ve also accepted awards from other leading corporations, worldwide.
