Senior CAD Technician

Hands on experience in developing design concepts of roads and highways with knowledge of construction engineering practices. Looking for an opportunity to work as a Senior CAD Technician in a renowned organization

• Extensive knowledge of techniques and process of highway design, Caltrans Design Process, and civil engineering standard practices
• Responsible for railway track installation principles to carry out proper design
• Design typical and “for construction” railway track sections, horizontal and vertical railway alignment
• In-depth knowledge of environmental process, highway design, AASHTO standards and specifications
• Comprehensive knowledge of design process and codes, storm water management, and standard practices of designing highways
• Well versed in traffic engineering, project management, and designing roadway drainage systems
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, Auto turn/track, current highway engineering standards, and Micro station
• Capable of taking off quantities to assist Quantity surveyors
• Ability to communicate technical specifications accurately and precisely
• Knowledge of General arrangement of Signal traffic system
• Ensured successful execution of the project by updating technical requirements from Designers
• Handled the tasks of drawing highway designs and specifications and update the same for review to the senior highway engineer
• Responsible for handling the daily assigned tasks under the direction of the senior design engineer
• Handled the tasks of preparing proposals contract documents, and work plans
