September 2006 to Fevrier2015: Electrician Technician at ESSO Exploration and Production Chad Incorporation.
• Performing Maintenance Operation as well as inspection on high/low voltage power distribution system.
• Ensured high/low switchgear are working safely in order to provide fault-current interruption, disconnection, reconnection, isolation and earthing/grounding on the various circuits comprising the high voltage distribution system.
• Ensured all protective equipments such as relays (Micom relays,) are set up in accordance with company engineering requirement.
• Responsible for trouble shoot, repair and maintenance of electrical systems in all Gathering stations, manifolds, Field Distribution.
• Responsible for trouble shoot, repair and maintenance of electrical systems for numerous equipments such as:
• Transformers: Maintenance of power transformer from 13.8KV up to 132KV, inspected periodically the transformer for any abnormalities (high temperature, high noise, low oil level etc…) as per PM requirement
• Testing Breakdown Voltage of Transformer oil and Megger, DLRO, TTR of transformer.
• Essential Services Generators: performed monthly inspection on the generator, test run so that in case of power outage they remain ready to feed some essential loads
• Motors and compressors: performed integrity ground test, checked motors breaker for any alarms, operation and maintenance as required
• DC system system including uninterrupted power supply (UPS): Performed PM on all the DC system, checked batteries and chargers for any damage or alarms, troubleshoot and repaired UPS system as necessary
• HVAC system: inspected HVAC system in all substation and buildings, repair lights including High Mast Light (HML)
• Performed well isolation, and inspected and services poles, that carry 33KV still to the field transformer then the VFD in Kome Chad fields
• Perfomed PT test on feeders and keep an updated data base for all kome fields power distribution
• Prepare spare parts list as per the equipment, and maintain all hand Tools & Power Tools.
• Operation and Maintenance of Electrical power system Equipment as per Hazardous Area, Safety Rules and Regulation.
• Act as isolation authority by demonstrating zero energy following LOTOUT
TAGOUT system.
• Good Understanding of Safety Health Environnemental procedure as company requirement
