• Managing Enterprise IT support team which is responsible for infrastructure services on Microsoft Windows technology.
• Implementation and Administration of Windows 2003 Active Directory
Creating standard backup policies and taking back-up of the servers, restoring the data as per the requirements.
• Install, Configure, and Administration of Windows based DNS and DHCP Servers. Creating and managing users in the domain and setting up user’s permissions. Creating Custom Group Policies and Securing the Domain. Inter Connecting workstations to the server. Creating and managing users in the domain and setting up user’s permissions. Creating custom group policies and securing the domain. Creating OUs and Groups and assigning permissions accordingly and applying WNI filters.
• Installation and Configurations of Operating Systems i.e. Windows Xp , Vista and Windows 7 (32bit & 64bit) along with other Software’s packages. Creating Share folders and assigning permissions.
Troubleshooting of network connections and assigning IP addresses. Building Microsoft Outlook Express and MS Office Outlook configuration and troubleshooting. Provide data management & security. Take Weekly data backups and User’s E-mail (POP3, IMAP) backup. Providing system hardware & network support.
• Implementation, Administration and maintenance of Rendering Servers, Consists of S5520SC server and S5000XVN workstations
• Work with CNR (Central News Room) for the smooth working and to get rid their issues regarding DNPS (Dunya News Production System) client-end, network/ system level support as well. Moreover to providing smooth workflow setup FTP sites all over country and even world (Bureaus) which are directly connected to the CNR (secure and instant mechanism of sharing footages/ pictures or any other valuable data of organization) to be available in less time.
• Video and Audio conference
• Configuration and Maintenance of Antivirus solution “KasperSKY” that we have installed all over IT and Broadcast Network, its realy working awesomly
• Installation and configuration of network printers as well wireless routers such as CISCO, Linksys etc for wireless connectivity.
• Taking care of Nortel Avaya Telecom Exchange equipment for telecommunication service
