Mechanical Engineer

A position as a mechanical engineer, which will allow me to use my design and problem solving skills to assist in the design and fabrication of mechanical components.

Initially Design FEED and pre-Construction assessments for two Power Stations PP13 & PP14, 250kms apart in remote locations, And Each Power Plant will consist of two blocks (Block 10 and Block 20) with each block being a three-on-one combined cycle power block. Each power block will include three Gas Turbine Generators (GTG’s), three Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), one Steam Turbine Generator (STG) and one Air Cooled Condenser (ACC). There are a total of six GTGs, six HRSGs, two STGs and two ACCs at each power plant. Each power plant will be capable of generating 1,650 to 1,980 MW at the reference site conditions near Riyadh, with associated 380 kV GIS Substations and 380 kV Transmission Lines to connect to the existing SEC 380 kV Electrical Transmission Grid and interface with SEC’s SCADA system.
Lead Engineer for the waste water system, Water treatment system, Fuel gas system and closed cooling water system, design the P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation diagram) heavy equipment installation, piping, electrical and instrumentation. Responsible for assisting senior level Managers in designing and developing power equipment. Working on projects in remote locations. Implementation and use of: BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN 14001 and OSHAS 18001 Management Systems, ASME VIII / IX and V, ASME/ANI B31.3, Aramco PipelineAPI 1104, Fuel Storage tanks, API 650 and 620.
Both Power Stations were designed and constructed starting with a six month staggered start. Project is designated by the company as Major and Fast track projected project duration is 5 years.
