Field Service Technician

 Nov.2010–up to now: working with Weatherford oil tools M.E. ltd. in Tubular

Running Services (TRS) department as Field Technician.

(Over drive system - Stab master system -Jam system -Bucking machine and Tongs).

My duties as follows:

• Rig up/down all TRS equipments as per manuals procedures.

• Start up /shut down the units.

• RIH/POOH and Make up/break out different types of casing and tubing connections .

• Use all handling equipments "hand slips, elevators, drifts, spiders, thread protectors..etc.

• Install all cables ,accessories concerning with Jam system and update the Job data.

• Make inspection and dope the thread connections before RIH.

• Rig up/down & start up/shut down the over drive system ( tork drive system, power unit
,
• surface loop, control panel, air & hydraulic hoses, spider slips, driller remote panel…etc.

• RIH &observe make up/break out the connections.



• operate the over drive system and communicate with driller as per job requirements.

• Trouble shooting the system defaults.

• make protective and corrective maintenance for over drive system (cleaning ,change insert slips & mud valve-hydraulic connections- change oil& filters- lubrication..etc as per job needs.

• Make function test the equipments pre and post the job.

• Follow up safety rules & held pre- job safety meeting with co-man & rig crew.

• Prepare job tickets and sign by the client representative.

• -Report and communicate with direct supervisor.

 July2007–Oct.2010 worked with Schlumberger oilfield Services Co.
in completion & production dept. as Field Specialist
( operation-maintenance- string diagram –calculations & job reports).

 Jan.2001-June 2007 worked in Aden container Terminal
in quay cranes & rubber tire-gantry dept. as Technician
Maintenance & installation cables .

 High Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Technical institute / Aden
 B.A. English degree from Aden University.

 Training courses in English language.
 Training courses in computer applications.
 Training courses in oilfield services with Schlumberger / France.
 Training courses in QHSE with Schlumberger & weatherford (Egypt &Yemen).
