Supervise Thru-Tubing field operations. This includes milling and fishing. Deployed on jointed pipe or coiled tubing.
Thru-Tubing Field Specialist
Plan, execute and supervise full spectrum of field jobs for Thru-Tubing Intervention in Canada. This includes milling, fishing and all types of packers. Deployed on jointed pipe or coiled tubing. Wireline or slickline for packers.
 Milling / cleaning with all types of thru-tubing PD motors from Weatherford’s toolbox – CTD, 250NBR, eCTD.
 Utilizing all possible fishing and retrieval tools. Applying modifications as per specific fishing job.
 Clean up operations – mechanical (motors) and hydraulic means (venturi tool).
Thru-Tubing Applications Specialist
Intervention Technical Excellence Coordinator for Thru-Tubing in Canada. Responsible for pre-job planning, ensuring proper equipment and techniques are programmed specific to each customer conditions. Provide technical support to field operations. Assist in the development of continuous improvement of all areas of operations. Liaise with sales and management.
 Program field applications for all areas of the product line
 Provide technical assistance to sales in order to identify applications where Weatherford completion technology may be applied to satisfy customer needs.
 Act as one of the in-house technical experts on completion technology and applications.
 Liaise between sales and internal Weatherford Completions departments to ensure that the final product/service ensures complete customer satisfaction.
 Identify industry requirements for new completions technology that could be developed.
 Interface with engineering/manufacturing on technology issues
 Update Standard Operating Procedures.
 Establish proactive approach to the customer needs.
 Managing all internally or externally Problem Job Reports, Non-Conformance Reports and Corrective/Preventive Action Reports by liaising with accounting, QC, engineering, workshop, customers, operations and management.
