Professional Experience
1994 started as a scientist in a water treatment facility responsible for production process optimisation and quality assurance.
1998 for 2 years as senior scientist in research and development (water treatment specialising in membrane processes)at Sasol (petrochemical company)
from 2000 various production management roles in Sasol
2004 as environmental manager at Sasol Secunda up to 2006 when I was appointed as HES manager for a joint venture between Sasol and Chevron (London based).
On return to SA, worked as the HSE manager for Synfuels until 2010.
In 2010 resigned from Sasol & started up a desalination plant in Namibia. Returned later the year to Sasol as general manager for HSE professional services. In 2012 started as Operations manager of the Sasol Secunda Air separation units.
