Telecommunications systems manager

Competent and versatile telecommunications engineer, educated to MSc level, with 17 years of radio communications experience gained in functional and closed systems with hands on radio systems, integration of radio communications systems etc.

• I used to be telecommunications system administrator from 1997 to 2004, and from 2004 till present I am radio system manager.
• In the period 1997-2004, I used to work with small PABX systems, microwave systems, analogue and digital HF, VHF and UHF radios, with LMR (DMR), TETRA radios, calculate microwave (PDH,SDH) links budgets, calculate HF radio links budgets, program radios with working parameters, use academic network simulator NS2, prepare networking IP parameters, including routing and switching for integration with LANs.
• Also, I am familiar and have worked with satellite communications equipment (like Explorer 700 from Inmarsat system or Iridium /ex Motorola/ 9505A from Iridium system) and used video – conference (Polycom) equipement with Explorer 700 from Inmarsat system.
• As a radio system manager I was involved in: program management and project management, test engineering, technical support engineering.
• I have worked in a joint teams for writing technical requests for radio and other telecommunications equipment and some site accept testing and test procedures preparations, organizations and realizations.
• I have more then ten years of experience in defining technical elements in RFP documentation, analyzing vendor offers, technical solutions and concepts in functional telecommunications systems.
• I have two years of experience in development and design of integrated telecommunications solutions (radio, microwave and switching).
• As an expert with 17 years of experience, I am familiar with the technical principles, development cycles and trends, maintenance concepts and available solutions in radio communications.
• I am up to date with different solutions from different vendors of radio communications equipment and the solutions for their implementations according to management strategy.
• I have hands on system analytics, technology implementations and customer feedback recognizing for system improvements.
