Senior Reservoir Engineer (May 2011 - Present)
Leader of Reservoir Integrated Studies for North Lake Division in Western PDVSA E&P. Responsible for planning, execution and supervision of Static & Dynamic Reservoir Model Projects. My duties include:

- Carry out the reservoir characterization of oil fields through the engineering activities within assigned assets, including PVT, SCAL, PTA, Material Balance and Decline Curve Analysis, using PVTi / Winpro / Pansystem / MBAL / OFM.
- Recommend major new field developments through the integration of static and dynamic reservoir studies, using Petrel.
- Perform reservoir simulation studies with Eclipse and Imex-CMG to evaluate technical and economic exploitation plans in the field.
- Optimize the current enhanced oil recovery projects (EOR), evaluate and recommend the implementation of new development plans to optimize ultimate recovery.
- Estimate oil and gas reserves from geostatistical models, volumetric and material balance calculation, perform decline curve analysis.
- Analyze risk and uncertainties of reservoir modeling and development plans.
- Control of budget and resources assigned for each reservoir project.
- Maximize oil production, increase ultimate oil recovery, net value and profits.

Reservoir Simulation Engineer (Sep 2008 - May 2011)
-Review and analyze data from projects planned in the short term.
-Review and discuss results of static reservoir models with Geoscience team.
-Integrate static and dynamic data into the 3D model.
-Conduit history match of well data, estimate parameters to fit reservoir performance.
-Calculate oil and gas reserves.
-Forecasts and define the optimal reservoir exploitation plan.
-Increase net value of the asset, maximize oil production and profits.

Reservoir Engineer (Oct 1997 - Sep 2008)
-Analyze production and pressure data from wells.
-Analyze core data and PVT samples.
