• Proficient in- Piping material specification PMS, Pipe wall thickness calculation, Valve datasheets preparation, Technical bid, Pipe fittings selection, ASTM material selection, Pipe rack calculations, Support planning, Pipe isometrics, MTO, Piping & structural modeling in PDS.
• Knowledge of- P&ID, MDS, PFD, Line list, Instrument hook-up, Plot plan development, Layout, Vendor drawing, Process equipments etc
• Familiar with- International Codes & Standards ASME, ASTM & DIN EN

• Understanding & use of codes & standards ASME B 31.1, B 31.3, B36.10, B16.5, B16.9, B16.11 etc.
• ASTM material selection for pipe, pipe fittings, flanges, valves, Bolt & nut etc.
• Creation of piping material specifications.
• Flange rating & PT rating calculations.
• Pipe wall thickness calculations.
• Selection of schedule for pipe & selection of piping commodities.
• Pipe bending calculations.
• Reinforcement pad calculations.
• Miter bend calculations.
• Calculations in PROBAD software.
• Selection of pipe fittings from standard B16.11 & B16.9 etc & creation its datasheets for purchasing.
• Blank or orifice thickness calculations.
• Branch table preparations.
• Valve datasheets preparation.
• Vendor discussions & technical bidding
