Profile: Experienced Assistant Driller who has been working in the offshore oil and gas industry since 1990. Experience working in Europe, Africa and Asia, on all types of drilling rigs including the latest 7th generation ultra deepwater drillships. I am reliable, punctual and work well as part of a team or on my own initiative. Kevin Wilkinson worked for me on the Athena as Assistant Driller for a couple of months as an agency temp to cover for one of our Assistant Drillers that was sick.
I found him very knowledgeable in all subjects. He is keen and very safety conscious and a hard working individual.
He is a very good communicator and leads the Drill Crew well and is always out helping out personnel on the rig floor. He carries out his duties and tasks as asked by his driller and other supervisors.
He has a good knowledge of NOV Cyber Systems and is very competent in the Assistant Drillers Chair and doesn’t need any supervision whilst running the equipment to a very satisfactory standard.
