Financial Analyst/Senior Accountatnt/ Assurance Audit Teaml Leader

To develop and progress within an organization as a valuable team leader where I would be able to leverage my skills and experience to assist the organization in achieving its goals and objectives.

I am currently the Financial Analyst – Internal Compliance at Fiji Airways.

I commenced on the new role on the 9th of March 2015 after spending the past four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Accountant with Fiji Airways Assurance division.

I am a self-starter and have the ability to motivate and drive my aspirations given my passion for any area of interest I may have.

In my 9 weeks at Fiji Airways I have to date created numerous tools that I use as a yardstick to ensure that I deliver based on the job description expectations and beyond that.

My main area of focus at Fiji Airways as an Analyst in charge of Internal Compliance is to ensure that audit issues identified in internal and external audits are disposed of. In light of this I created a monitoring tool where tailored step by step solutions specific to Fiji Airways are to be followed that brings about change management processes to ensure that the issues do not recur in the future. This is a brief testimony to my abilities to drive myself to deliver at the least supervision of my manager.

I believe I can take on the challenges for any financial manager role mentioned as my accumulated knowledge and experience in audit and accounting gives me the immense capability to interpret raw and processed data and chart the correrelations between financial line items.

Pressure brings out the best in me and working under gruesome conditions and unrealistic timeframe have often produced creative ideas and solutions to problems I have encountered on field.

In my experience as the Team senior I have often been faced with low performing staff but able to have a positive turnaround of staff attitude as I encourage a transparent, open and take responsibility for my team members development, actions and concerns.

In my work experience to liaise with the broad spectrum of clients I maintain my relationship by deploying diplomatic dialogue and being steady on my position as an assurance senior to conform to independence and objectivity at all times.

Apart from the accounting and auditing skills which I have acquired I am a keen worker, I love to take on new challenges, taking interest in the current market demand or changes, I work well in a team and unsupervised.
