Assistant Driller

To gain as much knowledge possible in Exploration and Production and integrate it to aid in more efficient and environment friendly operational practices in the Oil Industry.

1. GSF EXPLORER -5th generation drillship (Transocean) Still working as an Assistant Driller, since the past year and half. Working with the Horizontal Pipe Racker (HPR) and the NOV Pipe Racking System (PRS)
2. DDKG2-6th generation drillship (Transocean) Worked for six months as an Assistant Driller. Worked with the NOV Hydraracker and Hydratong and other parts of the cyber system.
3. DDKG1-6th generation drillship (Transocean) Worked as an Accelerated Rig Trainee (ART)- Drilling, for two years. Worked with the pipe skate, the riser skate, the mudpumps (14p-220) and the mud mixing and transfer systems.
4. VIRTUE1 (Jindal Drilling and Industries Ltd) Worked for eleven months on this cyber jack up, as a Drilling Trainee. Worked with the marine crew, the deck crew and then on the Rigfloor.
5. Also worked two months as an Executive Trainee in Business Development and Procurement (Jindal Drilling and Industries Ltd), Prior to my first offshore assignment

I have done my BSc in Geology and my MSc in Applied Petroleum Technology. I have also completed a project in “ Core Analysis and Depositional Environment Interpretation “ at the Regional Geosciences Laboratories of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) Baroda - India
