• Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the pressure vessel inspection plan together with engineering and corrosion specialist support, meeting all QMS requirements
• Lead, plan, organize and co-ordinate with team of QC engineers, QC inspectors, welding foremen, NDT inspectors, PWHT technicians and other sub contractors.
• Manage QA/QC issues in all projects
• Well conversant with API 650.
• Procedure qualification and welder qualification of material used in oil and gas industry including corrosion resistant alloys (CRA) such as Chrome , Stainless steel, Cobalt , Nickel , Iron , Titanium etc according to API 1104, AS 3992, AS 4041,ASME section IX.
• Failure investigation of CRA materials being used in oil and gas industry and suggesting solutions and remedial actions to prevent future failure.
• Well conversant with different damage mechanism in fixed plant in oil and gas sector such as Erosion/erosion corrosion , atmospheric corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, Galvanic corrosion, microbiological induced corrosion, soil corrosion, caustic corrosion, chloride stress corrosion cracking, caustic stress corrosion cracking, Amine stress corrosion cracking, high temperature hydrogen attack etc.
• Well conversant with duplex, super duplex & DNV standard
• Preparation, implementation of Project quality plan (PQP), Inspection and test plan (ITP), project specific QC procedures like method statement for fabrication/welding /NDT procedures/hydrostatic test procedures.
• Hands on experience of pre-welding, in process welding, and post welding engineering surveillance, inspection and supervision at plant erection site of all welding operations
• Piping Inspection as per ANSI B31.3, API 1104 and specs including fabrication, Dimensional and Welding Inspection.
• Tank inspection as per API 653,620
• Witnessing all applicable NDT (RT, PT, MT, UT & LT) and daily radiograph review
