4. Cooling Water and Compressed Air Piping Hydraulics using AFT Fathom & Arrow
Responsibilities:
1. Process Design of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers:
• Comparison and Manual Calculation of Bell Delaware vs. Kern Method
• Optimizing Tube Side Design and Baffle Design for single phase exchangers
• Optimizing Baffle Design, Shell Type, type of condensation (saturated or superheated) for Two Phase Exchangers (condensers)
2. Updating of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
3. Performed line sizing calculations for various process lines
4. Performed pump hydraulic calculations
5. Updating of centrifugal pump data sheet as per API 610
6. Preparation of documents and reports such as line list, equipment list, line sizing report and Valve Tagging list
7. Simulation of processes using ASPEN HYSYS (beginner)
8. Piping network analysis using AFT Fathom & Arrow
