• Identified local, national and international HSE codes, standards and legislation and implemented policies to ensure compliance.
• Developed and implemented a performance dashboard containing a suite of leading and lagging HSE performance indicators providing key people within the organisation a tool to measure, monitor and manage H&S aspects proactively and make informed decisions.
• Designed and developed an intranet communication portal in MS SharePoint and implemented communication processes for the purpose of sharing QHSE information and promoting workforce engagement on QHSE activities.
• Created and managed the process for targeted HSE campaigns utilising methods such as direct mail, printed media, and presentations to raise HSE standards in areas requiring attention.
• Carried out internal and 2nd party audits, prioritised by risk to overall operations. Audits concentrated on budgets, schedules, documentation and areas of compliance.
• Carried out investigation of incidents, ensuring that learning’s from the incidents are shared and suitable remedial actions are taken where necessary.
• Developed and implemented a framework for just culture that balances no blame with accountability for the purpose of incident investigations.
