Drilling supervisor

Supervising drilling and work over operations on oil & gas wells, as well as location preparation, check rig before spud in and carry out all rig operations: drilling, cementing, running casing, testing, logging and completion.

12/2013 till now:
Worked as senior drilling supervisor on 1500/2000 HP land rigs (Gulf of Suez West concession):
-Last 6 months, successfully drilled three deviated wells under budget and ahead of schedule, all three wells drain oil from offshore blocks and completed with gas lift equipment as oil producers.
-Manage the HSE performance of the rig in compliance with Company HSE policies and procedures.
-Perform two stages cement job, balanced cement plugs and conventional cement job.
-Ensure Kill Sheet is always updated & supervise all BOP Tests.
-Perform internal Audits & Ensure Weekly Drills (Kick, H2S, Fire, Stripping…etc.)are conducted with the best performance.
-Supervise all Rig Activities (Drilling, Logging, Casing, Cementing, Completion, Testing, and Fishing & Rig Mobilization) in Safe, Timely & Cost-Effective manner.
-Optimize & Test Drilling Fluids properties to deliver high performance prevent formation damage & Mud-Related problems.
-Complete end of well reports (EOWR) and capture post well lessons learned.

12/2011-12/2013:
Worked as night drilling supervisor on offshore jack up rigs (Gulf of Suez East concession) and had experience in:
-Drilling directional offshore deep wells up to 14000 ft. with mud motor and RSS.
-Gulf of Suez structure and formation problems.
-Slot recovery for old wells that can’t be side tracked.
-Selecting and observing Drilling Fluids.
-Running with MWD, LWD, Adjustable stabilizers and Motors or RSS.
-Conventional cement jobs, cement squeeze jobs, balanced cement plugs.
-P&A and side-tracking jobs for platform wells based on API procedures.

09/2010-12/2011:
Work as a work over supervisor (offshore snubbing unit & work over land rig) to perform work over operations such as (Killing jobs, Perforation jobs, Scale clean out jobs, fishing job, and change out different of completion strings)

09/2009-09/2010:
Work as a drilling engineer : (offshore and land rig)
On the rig: supervising (under the authority of the Drilling Supervisor) drilling site operations and perform all the operations such as drilling vertical, deviated, and horizontal wells include (Running and monitoring drilling bits, selecting and observing drilling fluids, running and cementing casing, running and cementing liners, cement squeeze, balanced cement plugs, perforating wells, running completion’s, Fishing, Side tracking)

From 2004 to 2009:Study petroleum engineering in faculty of petroleum and mining engineering.
