Professional Experience
• Ability to carry out coating inspection activity or structural steel, and pipe on newly construction site and existing production site as for maintenance coating or repairs, carry out visual and instrumental checking for, DFT,WFT, Blotter test, Holiday, and adhesion test base on the specification.
• Carrying out pre-checks on newly fabricated structures to see if there are welding defects and hence recommend for repairs, prior to any surface preparation/coating as well.
• Inspection of blasting operation/coating activities of rig Pontoon, Helidecks.
• Proficient in application and inspection of specialized coating techniques like Fusion Bonded Epoxy(FBE),3Layer polyethylene(LPE), 5Layer polypropylene(LPP) coating, 2 Layer Liquid FBE, 2 Layer polypropylene Coating, Robotic internal field joint coating, Concrete weight coating, Cement Lining, Thrukote internal sleeve, Heat shrink (Poly) sleeve coating, Visco Elastic Coating, Hot dip Galvanizing and Polyurea etc.
• Inspection of tanks external coating in crude oil facilities, chemical tanks, water tanks, and food storage tanks, making sure the best corrosion resistant coating is used also the tank inner lining for immersion service
