Ensures competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works
Maintains complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
Sources for new parties, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises.
Monitors and co-ordinates deliveries of items.
Compares costs and evaluates the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and equipment.
Interviews and corresponds with vendors; keeps informed of new products and market conditions and trends.
Confers with and assists officials of all departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
Maintains procurement and inventory files.
Maintains foreign trade, customs, logistic facilities are done on time, within budget and in compliance with company policies.
Sends RFQ's to potential vendors and expedites the quotations/proposals
Setting up Cost Control Procedures.
Establishing Budgets and the methodology for managing these for the PMC and FEED contractor scope.
Estimation of Total Forecasts, Work hours / Costs and Expected Outcomes.
Help manage the Personnel Approval process for the FEED contractor
Assists the Project Control Manager in managing the Change process.
Audit FEED Contractors and other subcontracts reports and processes.
Prepare and maintain cash flow and other financial reports as required.
Support the Risk process as applied to the FEED contractor as required.
Commitment Control and vendor/subcontractors invoice approval.
Prepares and /or coordinates the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work.

-Masters degree in global supply chain mangement from Bordaeux ecole de management /france/full time, 1 year nine month studies
-Bachelor degree in transport logistics from arab academy for science,technology and maritime transport

I have recently finished a master’s program full time in global supply chain management in one of the most respectable schools in Europe (Bordeaux ecole de management) during which I have gained a clear knowledge and know-how to apply the latest supply chain management techniques in addition to my modest professional experience I have gained in the logistics and transportation business during my work in an international petrochemical company in Egypt. I currently work in UAE as a procurement and supply chain engineer at chemi-link Corporation. By now, I can be of great assistance for the Order to cash Cycle in Henkel, apply forecasting and inventory management tools that I have learned and practiced during my academic and professional experience.
In terms of supply chain, briefly I can do the following:
1- Develop KPIs and performance measurements to have optimum control and assessment on stock in hand and future inventory needed.
2- Define and implement best practice KPIs in accordance to the supply chain reference model and other internationally recognized reference models such as the supply chain forum.
3- Usage of SCOR methodology for proper implementation of benchmarking to identify best practices in supply chain and inventory management operations, design action plan, timeline and return of investment to each practice weather its strategic or operational.
