• Project control & execution of work.
• Supervise the project progress and ensure it is in keeping as per the drawings and specifications.
• Managing & direct supervision of project resources (labour & materials) for optimum performance.
• Making of DPR (Daily Progress Report) to coordinate with project manager.
• Providing arrangements to conduct the soil test by inspectorate officials to obtain the resistivity of soil for earth designing.
• Requesting size, dimensions, cable entry of the transformer & diesel generator to the manufacturer for designing the transformer room.
• Submitting the complete design to electrical inspectorate for approvals.
• Direct interaction with the civil engineers to build the transformer room and trench for laying of XLPE and AYFY cables.
• Making of PR (Purchase Request).
• Reporting change in work from drawing as per the site conditions and client needs.
• Supervising the erection of USS (unitised substation) which includes 250 KVA 11KV/430V dry cast resin transformer with HT metering panel & 125 KVA 3 415V diesel generator.
• Direct supervision of indoor & outdoor cable end terminations by heat shrink method.
• Supervising the erection of cable tray according to drawings.
• Direct supervision of cable glanding and its earthing.
• Monitoring the installations of MSB (main switch board) including AMF(automatic mains failure) unit, APFC(automatic power factor correction) panel by sub contractor.
• Supervising the installations of VDB(vertical distribution board) & SSB(sub distribution board)
• Direct supervision on earthing as per the design.
• Reporting additional works occurred apart from pre planned.
• Making RFI(Request for inspection) after submitting the completion report.
• Submitting the approvals from electrical inspectorate to state electricity board for providing supply.
