Instrument Engineer – 5+ years’ experience (2 years’ Gulf exp) in planning, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of process industry

• More than 5 years of professional experience in Installation, Commissioning, Loop checking, Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Calibration of electronic & pneumatic process instruments like transmitters [Flow, Pressure, Level, Temperature and Conductivity], controllers, analyzers and control valves for monitoring and controlling process engineering systems.
• Involved in Commissioning & Start Up of Ammonium Bicarbonate Plant.
• Involved in Start Up & Shutdown of Ammonium Chloride Plant, Sodium Carbonate & Sodium Bicarbonate Plant.
• Have a good knowledge in various test and calibration equipment’s.
• Working Knowledge in designing of instrument open and closed loops, Point Configuration, graphic implementation, Trending & Historisation etc. using Honeywell’s TPS TDC 3000 x.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance of Bulk material handling equipment’s like Reclaimer, Shiploader and Autosampler.
• Working experience in maintenance and calibration of Schenck, MicroTech, Avery, Essae Teraoka, Emery Winslow & Chronos Richardson make Weigh scales, Weigh Bridge and Bagging Machines.
• Trouble shooting instrument failures effectively and in time and carrying out root cause analysis of the problem to come out with a permanent solution.
• Responsible for the planning activities like Material procurement & management, maintaining instrument history, Inspection of maintenance bills and new instruments, departmental spares maintenance, optimal manpower handling, maintaining/updating of job completion records.
• Responsible for planning and safe execution of the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work within the guidelines of the maintenance management system.
• Preparation of Preventive & Breakdown maintenance schedule, Calibration schedule, ATA schedule and execution of same.
• Preparation of Data sheets and specifications for all process instruments and control valves according to the company standards.
• Understanding of P&ID's / loop drawings and preparation of Safe Operating Procedures before execution of a job.
• Vendor selection and reviewing of vendor documents/drawings for final product selection and procurement.
• Maintaining departmental ISO documentations.
• Participated in Firefighting and PPE usage training sessions.
• Familiar in Hazardous area classification.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Instrumentation from Noorul Islam College of Engineering, Anna University in the year (2006 to 2010) and secured an aggregate of 74%.

CERTIFICATIONS:
• Undergone certified training in “PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS FLOW MEASUREMENT & CONTROL TECHNIQUES” from Fluid Control Research Institute [FCRI], Kerala, India.

• Undergone certified training in “PLC [Keyence Ladder Logic, Allen-Bradley [RS Logix 500], Omron [ZEN support software], Siemens PLC’s [Step 7 Microwin] & SCADA [Intellution Fix 32.0] automation packages”.
