RAY PRECISION ENGINEERING LLC (RPE), MUSCAT, OMAN (Summer Internship)
• RPE is one of the largest precision fabrication & manufacturing organizations of engineering and industrial products catering to the need of Oil & Gas, Refinery, Cement, Power & Mining industries in Oman, and has potential to become flagship Company of the Ray International Group.
• During the span of internship, the aim achieved was the practical experience in the following sectors of RAY Precision Engineering (RPE):
Mechanical Design Sector:
o Resolving design problems
o Reviewing technical product designs.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Sector:
o Studied, observed and understood the practical implementation of the “Inspection & Test Plans”
o Practically surveyed the fabrication shop with QA/QC Engineer for different assessments.
Manufacturing & Fabrication Sector:
The prospects learned were how to operate, the method of input and the work instruction manuals of the following machines: Water-Jet Cutting Machine, Plasma Arc Cutting Machine, Plate Rolling Machine etc.
