• Overseeing complete external coating/painting activities
• Ensuring:
o Execution of painting/coating inspection and testing activities on pipelines as per the project specification
o Usage of coating material as per the client specification
• Assuring proper storage and preservation of coating material on site
• Accessing:
o Rust condition of the substrate prior to treatment
o Prepared surface in accordance with Standard
• Checking& recording:
o Percentage Relative Humidity, Dew Point, Steel and Air Temperature
o Wet & Dry Film Thickness
• Detected coating fault and remedy
• Drafting Non-Conformance Report (NCR) whenever it was needed
• Liaising with Quality Manager on the work performance and authority to stop work in any areas where deficiencies remain uncorrected
• Monitoring of welding preparation and inspection. Familiar with corrosion loop concept
• Inspects drawings, design and specifications for boilers and other vessels, Inspects materials used, safety devices, regulators, construction quality, brace and rivet tension, welding, piping, corrosion, cracking, safety valve operation and other quality testing for liquid and gas vessels (both mild steel and stainless steel)
