- To apply cost control/allocation and analytical skills and knowledge gained on past and current job roles, in effectively achieving cost management and control objectives.

- Prepare scope of work connected to all the services required by Drilling department likewise: directional drilling, cementing services, slick line services, mud chemical services, drilling and work over services, fishing services, running tubular services, solid control services, coiled tubing services and mud logging services, wellhead and x-mas trees, mud line suspensions, all kinds of tubular, including drill pipes
- Prepare advert text and strategy for Drilling and Completions tenders
- Prepare evaluation templates (Technical and Commercial) including remuneration sections and schedule of rates for all tenders.
- Evaluate all Drilling and Completion tenders (Technical and Commercial Evaluation) including technical inspections
- Provide documentations; make presentation, review and follow-up for approval work programme/budget and budget performance (cost recovery) for SUBCOM and TECOM
- Handle contract performance monitoring
- ommunicate all operational issues to NAPIMS and DPR following through clarifications for close-out.
- Tender Board (Committee) Defence for Drilling and Completions minor (250KUSD) contracts
- Follow up of the tender approvals and variations with NAPIMS
- Handle clarifications required for close out of issues from NAPIMS
- Ensuring award in full compliance with Addax/NAPIMS/NCD tendering and contract awarding procedures etc.
- Handle all related NCDMB requirement such as NCD plan, monitor NCD performance of all drilling contractors using Drilling NCD performance template and communicate to NCDMB. Carry out quarterly and annual performance reviews with NCDMB
- Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the Head of Drilling Engineering and Planning
- Periodic (Monthly) contracts tracking, monitoring, status/spend report for Drilling Contracts across all assets
- Provide financial information to regulatory entities with regards to contract awards, expenditure, and contract ceiling escalation request and contract financial audits.
- Coordinate, Manage and Supervise Drilling Contracts Upload into Proactis Software, and its usage by Drilling Engineers
- Ensure contracts do not exceed planned spending limits.
- Track cost commitments across drilling operation contracts.
