FROM JUNE’2013-Present: Engineer-QA/QC at Arkkays National Engineering and Foundry Company (certified ISO TS 16949 by TUV SUD), SIPCOT INDUSTRIAL PARK, Irungattukottai, Kanchipuram. The only bright steel sector in South India to be awarded ISO TS 16949 with 72000 MT capacity per annum. Approved Vendor of Bosch-Bangalore, Brakes India, LMW etc., Over 50 years of experience in bright steel sector with the ability to provide various profiles of Cold drawn, Peeled & Ground Steel bars for Automotive & Textile machinery. A pioneer in its field with advanced Inspection technologies installed to provide 100% defect free material for customers.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONCIBILITIES
• Sample taken for testing as per the sampling plan and cleared for production.
• In charge of First Off Line Inspection for Combined Drawing Machine (CDM) & Peeling Machines.
• Handling UTM machine for tensile, yield, elongation, Compression, reduction area, bend, modules of elasticity etc.
• Handling Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell machines to test hardness of the material
• Knowledge in analyzing the macro, micro structure, inclusion, grain size, micro hardness, case depth, decarb, of the material.
• Handled optical emission spectra (spectro maxx and Thermo Fisher) to analyze chemical composition.
• Producing test certificate for customer verification based on the requirement and technical delivery condition.
• Establishing heat treatment process like annealing, spheroidzed annealing, Normalizing, stress relieving & hardening
• Member of core team for implementation of ISO/TS 16949.
• Knowledge in core tools like(MSA,SPC,FMEA,PPAP,APQP)
• Acted as 5’S Coordinator for the entire plant.
• Knowledge in 7 QC TOOLS
• Preparing NCMR, 8D report & Kaizen for customer and supplier related complaints and for continual improvements.
• Knowledge in Magnetic Particle Inspection, Ultrasonic Testing, Visual Testing.
• Handling the customer complaints.
• Training and multi skill development of new staff and operating people.
