Position: Electrical /Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:
Identify and fix the common faults in induction motors.
Terminating induction motors involving various connections which include (DOL induction motor connection, star delta induction motor connection and reversing induction motor connection) Using contactors, switches, relays and circuit breakers.
Inspection, installation, testing and examination of induction motors.
Ensure conformity to safety, health, and environment and quality standards.
Monitor the function of utilities and equipment such as pumps, generators and electric motors.
Implement and monitor Planned Preventive maintenance (PPM).
Provide maintenance services on all facilities e.g. HVAC unit, machines, living quarters and office base.
Perform electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement and repairs using appropriate hand, power and speciality tools.
Induction motor maintenance which include steam washing when short circuiting/dirty, bearing replacements and regular cleaning of the squirrel cage for proper ventilation.
Monitoring and recording the power usage by the company machines per hour, fault tracing, load balancing and load shedding.
