Experienced Environmental Proffessional

A career motivated individual with ample skills in environmental sustainability and compliance with statutory environmental regulations. I am attentive to details, smart, adaptable, can work under pressure, an insatiable thirst to acquire knowledge.

I am an experienced environmental professional with almost 20 years working experience in a leading multinational company in Nigeria. My area of work include Biodiversity conservation studies where I contributed in the development of the first Biodiversity Action Plan for Urhonigbe and Gilli Gilli Forest Reserve Areas in Nigeria. My other areas of work/interest include carrying out Post Impact Assessment Studies, Environmental Impact Assessment Studies, waste management and other environmental management studies. I have also been involved in Sustainable Development integration in business processes. I am a Senior Oil spill and Remediation officer in a Multinational Company in Nigeria where I have worked in the management and restoration of several oil spill impacted sites.

I had his first Degree B Sc. (Botany) from University of Nigeria and a Second Degree M Sc. (Environmental Technology and Management) from Institute of Petroleum Studies, University of Port Harcourt. I am a world bank scholar with a Ph D in Environmental Technology and Management.

I am a member of some internationally recognized professional bodies like National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP) of USA, Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) London and Red Cross Society of Nigeria. I am also an internationally certified HSE Officer. I have International certifications which include NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety; and International Maritime Organisation (IMO Levels 1-3) the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association (IPIECA) for Oil spill Management.
