ENGLISH TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN THE AVIATION SECTOR: February 2012 to present: Aviation English Instructor with ENNA (Algerian Institution for Air Navigation) Dispensing English for Aviation courses, examining and rating for the benefit of Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers working in different Algerian airports. October 2008 to present: IELTS & TOEFL EXAM PREPARATION EXPERIENCE IN LANGUAGE CENTRES April 99 to present: ENGLISH TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR Task, Duties and accountabilities: Assigned on Syken College to carry out and manage whole language training periods for the benefit of oil and gas companies’ personnel. The procedure is to define company’s objectives, conduct placement tests and allocate levels, set schedules on the basis of trainees’ work cycles, levels and availability during the workday, develop lesson plans, teach classes, monitor trainees’ progress, conduct regular assessments, grade trainees’ work and keep their academic records. This is in addition to establishing weekly and monthly reports for clients and employer; and getting involved in course and test design.

I am a highly motivated, goal driven teacher with a long and varied experience in the development and delivery of language programmes to a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds, among which secondary school students, pilots and air traffic controllers and oil and gas engineers and technicians.
I have earned a six-semester Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1980, a CELTA certificate in 2008 through a 120-hour onsite course in the UK. In 2012, I was approved as TEA (Test of English for Aviation) examiner and rater. My professional experience of fifteen years includes five years of IELTS preparation, general English and business English courses, three years of Aviation English instruction and ten years of communication English for the benefit of Oil and gas company employees operating in the Sahara region of Algeria.
