the objective of the job is to standardise the energy sector within the regulations and product quality assurance.

My major responsibilities included the following:

„Ï Carrying out Technical Inspections of Fossil Fuels facilities to ensure adherence to prescribed technical standards, safety and licensing requirements
„Ï Preparing inspection reports highlighting the compliance levels of the inspected undertakings for submission to management for information or action
„Ï Maintaining a data base of all undertakings in the fossil fuels subsector to facilitate development and implementation of regulations and compliance mechanisms and the monitoring of performance and efficiency trends
„Ï Collecting samples of petroleum products at random and organizes laboratory test and analyzing as a quality assurance mechanism
„Ï Currying out on the sport investigation in the event of an accident and preparing reports with recommendations for remedial actions
„Ï Reviews and analyses major infrastructure developments in the fossil fuels sub sector in consultation with relevant bodies such as ZDA and ZEMA
„Ï Provide on request, technical advice to the licensing and Secretarial services department and Economic Regulation department of the ERB to ensure timely delivery of services to stakeholders eg. on Pricing reviews and licensing reviews
„Ï Verifying stock levels at filling stations to ensure compliance to the statutory minimum levels set by the government ; and
„Ï Preparing Monthly reports on the activities of the section for management attention

„« I worked for Mount Meru Petroleum Limited as a Sales Engineer from 2007-
2009, being in Charge of Southern Region.

„« I worked for Afrox as Technical Sales Representative for a period of 4 years being in charge of Southern Region. ( 2002-2007)

My experience has been in the carry out of technical inspection of all Major Petroleum infrastructures in Zambia, marketing and selling of Lubricants, Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene, Jet A-1, LPG and all the industrial and medical gases including welding machines.
