Throughout my career life in petroleum industry I summarize the main activities and responsibilities that I have undertaken:
1. Designed, supervised, quality controlled, and interpreted well logs in vertical, deviated, and horizontal wells.
2. Designed completion and evaluation operations of different Carbonate and Sandstone Reservoir Intervals of oil and gas wells.
3. Studied and analyzed CCAL and SCAL cores data.
4. Integrated the petrophysical information on the electrical logs.
5. Performed many petrophysical and geological studies of oil and gas reservoirs.
6. Designed recompletion and workover operations of oil and gas wells.
7. Estimated oil and gas reserves.
8. Defined the site for drilling new wells and designed geological section of well forecast.
9. Checked and evaluated a lot of Geology Exploration and Reservoir Exploitation Technical Projects and Studies of many Syrian oil and gas fields, carried out by different foreign scientific institutes and oil/gas companies.
10. Headed a committee of check and approval of invoices of well logs, tests and perforations carried out by foreign companies in Syrian oil and gas wells.

I was awarded MSc. degree of London University and Diploma of Imperial College (DIC) in Petroleum Engineering. (Chevening Scholarship).
1982 to 1986 INSTITUTE OF GEOLOGY OF ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF AZERBAIJAN.
Baku, Azerbaijan. I was awarded a Ph.D. in geology and mineralogy.
1974 to 1980 AZERBAIJANIAN RED BANNER INSTITUTE OF PETROLEUM AND CHEMISTRY, named after M. Azizbekov. I was awarded MSc. Degree in geology and qualified as a mining-engineer-geophysicist.

I attended many training courses and workshops in oil and gas industry provided and organized by foreign companies in and out SYRIA. I have many certifications in some oil and gas subjects.

I was awarded the second prize of the 2010 OAPEC award for the scientific research entitled: "Results of Applying 3D Seismic and Horizontal Drilling Techniques in Exploration and Production Operations in SYRIA".
Wrote 16 articles and published them in Russian, Azerbaijanian, Arabic, and Syrian reviews.
Presented many papers at scientific conferences held in Azerbaijan, France, Egypt, Bahrain and Syria.
Translated many articles about the oil and gas industry from English into Arabic and published them in the Syrian Reviews.
