Professional Experience
Experience in following subjects:
• Basic and detail engineering of leaching facilities, which consist mainly of pipes, valves, tanks, vessels and pumps
• Preparation/Review of PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, specifications, site layouts and isometric drawings
• Preparation/Review of BOQs for procurement
• Preparation of cost estimates
• Evaluation of vendor offers as well as technical support of award negotiations
• Preparation of client reports and presentations including presentation of results in client meetings.
• Specialist project manager for cross-department projects
• Conceptual design of gas facilities
• Assistance on site during commissioning, leaching and gas first fill phases and preparation of daily, monthly and final reports
• Development of computer-aided calculation programs for design of plant components, particularly with regard to hydraulic and thermodynamic problems
• Coordination and documentation of the development of departmental planning standards
Eductation
Masters degree in mechanical engineering from TU Freiberg/Germany.
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from Damascus university.
Certification
SCC-certified: HSE training for operational managers by contractors
TUEV Nord.
Additional Information
After my academic study of mechanical engineering in Syria I obtained the master degree from the technical university of Freiberg in Germany. After that I joined the team of DEEP Underground Engineering GmbH as a project engineer in the department of industrial systems. During this job I had the opportunity to work in different stages of international projects, starting from the offer phase until the commissioning and operating phase. I acquired skills related to sophisticated design of leaching plants for gas as well as oil caverns, technical documentation, industrial safety and quality management. Moreover, I have a wide experience in EDP-systems such as Autocad, Matlab and MS-Office.
