Preparation of Technical Proposal & Cost Estimation of Static Equipments related to
Refinery Industries and Petrochemical

Identify scope of work, basis of proposal, technical proposal, cost elements, resource requirement, and preliminary schedule for the projects.

Understand tender documents & Extract required costing information from specifications, drawings etc.

Attend Pre-Bid Clarification meetings with Client/Customers

Preparing Clarifications/ replies to the queries raised by the client on Technical issues after post bid and before award of contract

Participates in estimate reviews with project teams to ensure scope consistency.

Develop Cost Database as a reference for historic & future trends.

Interacting with Finance & Accounts for collecting all the feedback available on similar jobs executed in past, analysis of the same to arrive at an economical cost.

Analysing & evaluating estimated cost and actual cost of the jobs already manufactured in past to arrive at a realistic cost estimates.

Development of databank for all the past jobs to be used during analysis of current cost estimates.

Attending techno commercial negotiations.

Monitoring the submitted quotes and follow-up with customers for quotes & after sales activity.

Close coordination with Planning Department and Projects Department for their inputs.

When in Cost Estimation Dept. worked on and handled various projects and items variousindustries and thereby got the opportunity to study each of the equipment in detail like SRU Condensers, Coke Drums, Hot Seperators, CCR Reactors, Regeneration Exchangers, PSA Absorbers, Ethylene Cracker Unit. Various Licencer Specs like Axens, UOP.

Professional Qualifications: -

Degree in Production Engineering – Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh in July 2011, with CGPA 8.0

Academic Qualifications: -
HSC: CBSE board from USPC Jain Public School in 2006 with 84.4%
SSC: CBSE board from USPC Jain Public School in 2004 with 84%
