1. AKER SOLUTIONS (Dec 2013-Present)

a) Scope of work as Design Engineer - Subsea Trees (Dec 2013-Sep 2015)

Creating 3D models and 2D drawings in Solidworks according to XMT specific guidelines and in line with Global standards.
Perform Simulations by use of Solidworks to secure better designs.
Perform hand and tolerance stack-up calculation.
Review of other design documentation and check on documents made by other Design Engineers.
Create Materials, DIRs and BOMs in SAP.


2. FMC TECHNOLOGIES (2010 Jul-2013 Oct)

a) Scope of work as PDE for Sales Orders (2011 Jul-2013 Oct)
Design surface wellheads according to customer requirement in the most cost-efficient way, taking into consideration the pricing strategy used by the Customer Service Group(CSG).
Work closely with the CSG and Quotation Group to clarify Bill Of Material-related queries
and to make sure that Engineering is progressing in correct direction.
Review drawings and submit review package to the supervisor.
Conduct design reviews when situation demands.
Work on installation procedures & Test Documents for surface wellheads.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests for customer if the new design asks for Fit/Function check or Pressure testing. Inspect tested parts to confirm quality.
Assist to resolve field issues with quick revisions to expedite rework/modifications of existing parts through Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs).
Work on Project-related Quality notifications & dispose them off after discussions with the Non-conformance review board.
Work on layouts & coloured wall charts per customer requirement.
Liaise with external vendors for specific project needs which includes creating and qualifying new products like tube fittings.
Conduct sharing sessions for Engineers/Drafters explaining ongoing issues/lessons learnt etc.
Send drawing packages to India office and review them for backlog needs in the Middle East.

b) Scope of work as Associate Engineer at FMC India (2010 Jul-2011 Jul)

Worked on Global Product Standardization of Surface Wellhead Equipment including
Bowl Protectors, WECO Adapters, Nipples etc. This includes working on machine drawings and make them fit into the global drafting standards of FMC(based on ASME).
Completed TST on Subsea Hydraulic connector, for Petrobras.
Compiled ICPs along with sequence drawings for customers in Nederland.

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
