Professional Experience
I am a time served Mechanical Technician / Valve Service Technician with 7 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry having fulfilled a Mechanical / Service role in a number of onshore, offshore and client sites. Throughout this time I have became familiar with HSE principles, Permit to Work System, Dynamic Risk Review (DRR) and have gained a high level of competency in the Mechanical discipline. I have also acquired a well known and professionally registered status as an Engineering Technician within the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and have gained registration to the Engineering Council.
At present I have been working within the North Sea & Overseas where I go offshore on an ad-hoc basis to take part in various PSV campaigns, valve surveys and routine maintenance jobs within the installations.

Knowledge of Permit to Work System, Dynamic Risk Reviews (DRR), BP’s Golden Rules & BOSS System – Behavioural Observation Safety System, exposure to various other safe systems of work including ability and confidence to hold safety conversations.
Ability to work well within a team and on my own Initiative.
Excellent practical and problem solving skills, great attention to detail
