► Working at Algeria Oman Fertilizer Project (AOFP) at Oran, Algeria since 19th June, 2011 for pre-commissioning and commissioning of Utility plant as well as Urea plant under the supervision of MHI, Japan. AOFP has established 2 train production plant each will produce 3500 MTPD totalizing 7000 MTPD. The process licensor of Urea Synthesis is SNAM PROGETTI of ITALY and HYDROAGRI of Netherland for Urea Granulation plant.

►Previously worked at Urea plant from 16.11.2000 to 10.06.2011 as a Sub Assistant Engineer of Jamuna Fetilizer Co.Ltd. (JFCL), Tarakandi, Jamalpur, an enterprise of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC), which utilized Italy’s SNAM PROGETTI for Urea and HYDROAGRI of Netherland process for Urea Granulation plant constructed by MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES LTD. (MHI) of Japan having capacity 1700 MTPD Urea.

(3) Successful participation of operator-training for FAM-Reclaimer at AOFP-Site Algeria.

Job Responsibility of AOFP



Utility Plant: Performed flushing, hydro test of different lines and vessels. Here I first engaged in commissioning comprising of water treatment plant operation, Desalination unit operation, cooling tower operation, Nitrogen handling, Instrument air compressor with Dryer operation, chlorination unit, chemical dosing unit, waste water treatment operation, Reclaimer operation , MP steam generation from heat recovery of gas generator.

Urea Plant Train-1 & Train-2: Here I made punch list first of all loops and give mechanical test run of all rotating equipment. Performing steam and Air flushing to header. Handling hydro and seal test to HP, MP & LP loops, Concentration & Vacuum System at different pressure. Monitoring lube oil flushing at different pumps, fans & blower and solo run test of CO2 compressor. Getting no load test & spray test at granulator and scrubber. In addition all pre-commissioning & commissioning jobs have successfully been completed.
During start-up, I myself control the variables from DCS and take action from the field side. Engaged in start-up of synthesis loop and granulation plant, circulation to MP, LP, Concentration, Process condensate & Urea flares system. Operating at steam driven turbine, CO2 compressor, HP NH3 pump, HP carbonate pump, atomization & fluidization air blower & fans. During shut –down of the plant, logic and sequence diagram be followed in order to avoid any sudden stoppage or trip.
