Field Service Technician

Support the company with my experience and responsibility in order to keep growing professionally

My first job was a supervisor in a construction company, developing several projects, including, sandblasting and painting offshore platforms, pipelines, construction and assembly of gasoline storage tanks, civil works.
At the same time was in charge of a concrete factory, working on sales during this stage, giving support to the purchasing department.

After this job, I decide to join the oilfield services and then started working for Schlumberger around 96-97 as Wireline Field Operator, with the normal duties related with this level, pressure control equipment, logging units and as a crane operator.
Then switched to Jaex / Owen, with them, my responsibilities were been in charge of ballistics operations, such as loading a wide variety of guns, like RTG, Shogun, Cutters, plugs, etc., pressure control equipment 10 K ,crane driving and Crew Chief Supervision of junior operators, manage of safety meetings following all client’s requirements.
Spent 5 years working for Owen, usually working in the North of Mexico, where most of the gas projects were running, and also, sometimes we were performing operations in the South of Mexico.
After that stage, moved to join Precision Drilling/Energy Services in order to increase the opportunity of gain more knowledge and keep growing professionally. My primary roll was as a Wireline Cased Hole Operator; however, after my second year within the company, I started to be trained as a Cased Hole Field Engineer, running Ballistic operations, CBL,GR_CCL, Pressure Temp logs, cutters, plug and packer setting.
My career continue with Weatherford when they acquire PD as Wireline Cased Hole Field Engineer, in this position I was in charge of full field operation and supervision of a team of 4 or 5 people, a Logging Unit, Crane, and Pressure Control equipment.
During 8 years worked though several African countries
Starting as Crew Chief/ Specialty Operator Wireline Cased Hole and Open Hole.
Leading and Supervise Ballistic Operations as Field Engineer. Supervising and training Jr Field Engineers and crew members during field operations and in base.

In 2013 requested my transfer to Manage Pressure Drilling, in order to continue improving and growing professionally myself, working in coordination with WFT MPD and sometimes with other companies performing Manage Pressure Drilling.
