Piping Site Engineer

Looking for a challenging and demanding position in Piping Design and Engineering in a growth oriented Mechanical Consulting, Contracting, Construction organization to render professional skills and add value to organizational growth and objectives

1) AMBICA ENGINEERING WORKS/(April 2014-April 2015):
• Establish, Execute appropriate Inspection / NDT plan.
• Prepares scope of work for major, modular turn around.
• Prepare Inspection Test Plan, QA/QC plan for procurement of Capital plant materials.
• Issues clearance certificates and reports of materials after Inspection and Testing.
• Carries out Inspection and Testing of all static equipments.
• Provides recommendations with corrective/preventive actions.

2) POST GRUADUATE DIPLOMA IN PROCESS PIPING DESIGN AMD ENGINEERING PER ASME B 31.3/(AUG 2015):
• Preparation of G.A Drawings and Isometrics based on P&ID ‘S and Plant layout.
• Pipe support and Rack design, Expansion loop design & Interpret Pipe Properties.
• Zero/Intermediate/Bulk level MTO.
• Piping Material Selection/Specification/Valve Data Sheets.
• Pressure design of Process Piping and Component as per ASME B 31.3 [Straight Pipe, Flanges, Elbows and Miter bends, Reinforced branch connections, Blanks, Blind flanges, Expansion joints].
• Hydraulic design of Liquid Piping and Pipelines (Pipe sizing, Pump head & power calculations)
• Supervision of Piping & Mechanical Equipment Erection, Fabrication & Testing .
• Select Flange, Gaskets, Valves as per Equipment Vendor Drawings.
• Understand Flow Diagrams (BFD/PFD’s & P& ID’s) .
• Perform Pressure Design/Hydraulic Design/Pipe Thickness Calculations
• Perform Manual Pipe Stress Calculations using formulae, graphs, charts,nomographs.
• Use CAESAR II Software to create 3d models of Piping Systems & Perform Static Stress Analysis.
• Flexibility Analysis of piping systems.
• Familiar with International Design Codes and Standards (ASME/ASTM/API/ANSI) and their use in design analysis

3) Major Project: NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING LEVEL 1 AND LEVEL 2 with Certification:
From ACE INSPECTION AND TRAINING SERVICES / (JAN 2014):
• NDT Testing by using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) which is used in various sectors especially in Oil and Gas Sector.
• They all have their advantages and limitation, so they all are used extensively for the inspection of welds.
• Fusion Welding is an essential part of material joining technology which should be checked by visual inspection or other NDT Methods.

• Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, {68.40%}

• Post Graduate Diploma in Process Piping Design & Engineering per ASME B31.3 from Institute of Piping Engineering and Building Services, Hyderabad.

• Intermediate (MPC) from Board of Intermediate Education, {85%}

• 10th Standard from Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE),{73.57%}

• Post Graduate Diploma in Process Piping Design and Engineering per ASME B31.3 From IPEBS.

• Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Level 1 & Level 2 from American Society For Non Destructive Testing (ASNT).

• Strong Analytical ,Problem Solving , Innovation, Adaptability and Quick learning Skills.
• Work well individually as well as in team , hard working and dedicated to work with positive attitude.
