Process engineer

Process engineer focusing on improving oil refining processes to achieve high quality finished products

• Duties include monitoring performance of plant process systems and equipment to identify any potential problem and suggest corrective actions such as operating modes or conditions, proposing chemical cleaning and following up to ensure proper execution.
• Liaising with operations and maintenance personnel in supervising plant maintenance activities such as jet cleaning of exchangers, calibration of control valves and flow meters to ensure adherence to company’s safety standards.
• Participating in plant start up and shut down operations, HAZOP studies pertaining to proposed modifications including identifying potential and safety related problems and coordinating appropriate solutions.
• Providing training, guidance and counselling to students and junior staffs.
