• Effectively managed procurement budget of QAR 120 million and ensured availability of critical items required for continued operations, such as, diesel/water for boats and Offshore Installations.
• Managed documents for Marine Department technical and non-technical records.
• Oversaw operation of three offshore store locations housing QAR 2 million of maintenance inventory.
• Implemented SAP (MM Module) for the department and trained the users.
• Oversaw work orders, materials requirement and purchases of QAR 30 million per budget year. This includes preparation of bill of Materials, ordering Materials, Technical Evaluation of Bids, follow up of delivery and arrangement of logistic to the offshore locations.
• Advised modification of fabrication according to availability of materials to ensure fit for purpose installations and also to ensure that projects were delivered on budget and schedule.
• Developed Material Acquisition, Material Issuing, Document Control, Material Disposals including chemicals and Material Write off procedures to enhance management control over the material procurement function.
• Responsible for arranging offshore operations (loading/offloading), bunkering, fresh water supply and crew change for the vessel. (SAP IS Oil)
• Supervised design and fabrication of Jet Fuel Tanks for Transportation of Jet Fuel to Offshore.
