To control the plant from DSC control room as well as on the field. Leading the team of plant operators on shift basis.

Process monitoring; Identification of plant related problems and taking corrective measures
Evaluate the potential approaches and decide on best option for implementation
Monitor the performance of the implemented solutions
Using SAP system.
Using MOC System.
Participate in/facilitate relevant RCAs, Hazops and
PDAs.
Provide Process inputs into development of maintenance
stratergy
Perform required duties during shutdown
Compile relevant technical reports
Support Asset Management philosophy (SAMI)
Optimise and control resources effectively

General
Knowledge of basic process of plant
Knowledge of relevant Sasol work instructions and procedures
Technical inputs into PDR and ATOP
Monthly follow up with customers regarding SLA
Liaising with maintenance departments to address immediate deviations
Plant work down to address outstanding defects
Compliance with statutory cleaning of plant equipments
To do standby duties.
Monthly and quarterly production reports.
Participate in BBS as platform for safe behaviors on a daily base.
Manage cleaning and inventory costs as per budget.
Manage adherence of equipment integrity through monthly changeover of electrical equipment.

High School qualification (Mathematics and science)
B.Tech (Chemical Engineering)

Bachelor of Technology certificate in chemical engineering
