While working as an Audit Manager in Audit & Assurance Department primarily working in oil & gas, transportation, and power sectors, I have managed financial statements audit based upon IFRS, cost recovery audits, group reporting to international KPMG firms, Initial Public Offer (IPO) and internal audit assignments.

My 10 years of professional experience with KPMG Oman have equipped me with the latest advancements in the Accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards, auditing techniques and tools to meet the requirements of International Standards of Auditing and enabled me to develop a number of skills which are required to contribute positively to each and every organization, particularly team work, meeting deadlines and above all the ability to solve problems and to develop solutions.

I have managed the audit of major international companies and have led large audit teams including presentations to Senior Management, Audit Committees and Boards of Directors. I have been involved in reconciling concession accounts to International Financial Reporting Standards.

I have being actively involved in preparation of audit and assurance proposals. Performed various activities while preparing the proposal such as risk management clearance to avoid conflict of interest, meeting with relevant authorities to understand the scope of work along with delivery timelines, identifying key personal with relevant experiences and skills for the assignment, ensuring in-house reviews of partners and later submission to relevant authorities.

I was actively involved in recruitment of qualified staff for audit and was key member in interview panel and co-ordination with HR for visa related issues.

I have successfully and consistently demonstrated key skills such as developing people, building relationships, problem solving, making an impact whilst keeping professionalism and delivering quality services. I was responsible for providing training on KPMG Audit Methodology (individually and through formal courses) to audit staff.
