Duties & Responsibilities
•Identifying the scope of work to be carried out.
•Verify and review total installed quantities for all disciplines including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical and instrumentation through regular review of contractor work.
•Attend regular Weekly progress meeting.
•Collect and assemble benchmarking data
•Validate installed items for Unit Rate contract progress payments.
•Assist Contract Administrators in measurements for bills of quantities and also assist in tender or bid evaluations.
• Record and verify all quantities completed in the field for each type of contract (lump sum, unit price and cost reimbursement).
• Client & sub-contracting billings
• Manpower management and site lineup.
• Lead the preparation and maintenance of the Integrated Construction Schedule and various Area Coordination Schedules for the project.
• Review contractor schedules and ensure contractor plans are realistic and achievable.
• Analyze progress, manpower and commodity information to support effective project management.
• Report schedule deviations proactively on assigned tasks related to a discipline or specialty.
• Lead in developing specific project codes of accounts and recommend appropriate modifications and revisions.

I am a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with close to more than 07 years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring, Reporting and Project Controls for Large Scale EPC, Composite Construction and Fabrication related Projects in Oil &Gas, Petrochemical, Power and Metal/Mining related sectors, with more than 4 years experience as Senior Planning Engineer.

I am having 07 years of experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Sector in Gulf Countries and in India, in Contractor, EPC and Client Level.

Since last 46 months (from Jan 2012 till) I am working for a large scale Pipeline & Facilities Project in the Position of Senior Project Planner at Nigeria, Africa.
