1.Receiving of incoming materials documents and control of equipment in accordance with project specification.
2.Inspects Materials and equipment on arrival at the site in terms of quantities and conformity with specifications and technical drawings (Visual and Dimensional Inspection).
3.Checks received material for visible damages to the packing or goods.
4.Reviewing of mill certificates
5.Ensures segregation of Nonconforming Material, recording any losses or damage in a detailed report.
6.Issue of non-conformance reports
7.Ensure that the material test certificates (MTC) for traceable materials are checked against the heat number marked on the material to confirm that (MTC) are available for all the materials received.
8.Ensure the storage and preservation of materials, is in accordance with the defined methods of classification, marking and traceability.
9.Prepares the Material Inspection Report (MIR)
10.Keeps inventory of used and unused materials
11.Keeps the situation of available Materials and in coming Materials up-to-date. Maintains and updates the project Material Tracking register.
12.Liaise with Client¡¦s for the inspection of project Materials.
13.Ensure Material markings and traceability is done in accordance with project procedure.
14.Issuing and receiving reports to the site Management team and QA/QC department.
15.Prepare and issue Material movement reports on daily & weekly basis.
