I’m a ‘Certified Business Accountant’ (CBA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka possessing more than 17 years of work experience in Auditing, Accounting, Finance and Taxation.

I have worked for two of the world's ‘Big-four’ international audit firms, namely, the Ernst & Young and KPMG. The chance work at these organizations provided me with excellent opportunities to specialize my skills in accounting as well as auditing. I conducted auditing assignments at organisations operating in various industries including manufacturing, trading, contracting, banking, finance, insurance, hospitality, transport, telecommunication, health, educational services…etc. Therefore, I have handled the books of accounts of organisations in different sectors like limited liability companies, banks, state corporations, estate companies and the companies listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange.

While working at Ernst & Young, I was also assigned as the 'Ernst & Young Represented Accountant' to one of the five star hotels in Sri Lanka, the Taj Lanka Hotels Ltd, and to a five star resort island in the Maldives, the Nika Island Resort.

I also have worked for many other companies located in the Maldives as well as UAE as shown in the attached CV at different capacities, namely, the Chief Accountant, Management Accountant and Accountant.

As a prerequisite of my profession, I possess the required knowledge in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLAS).

Presently I’m in the UAE and will be available to join by forth week of November 2015.
