Structural and Piping Supervisor

•Doing site Surveys with Field Engineers and Management in order to prepare Work Permit Request,
•Doing site surveys with the Rigging and Scaffolding Supervisors, in order to identify the location for Lifting to take place and where Scaffolding will be needed,
•Preparing Work Permit Request (Hot or Cold) and submitting it for Validation by the Safety Department,
•Making sure that the work site has been prepared, with all relevant equipment and material in place, as well as Rescue and Fire Fighting Equipment is on standby,
•I monitor and Supervise all Structural and Piping fabrication , Assembly, Dismantling and Installation, that is given to the crew of Artisans that is working under my Supervision,
•Make sure all crew members adhere to all Safety Rules and Regulations on site and in the workshops,
•I have to make sure that the task is completed within the timeframe that the Client wants the Project to be completed,
•Good with identifying any Risk and Hazards to the Personnel and Company Equipment in the area where the work is being carried out,
•I also need to liaise with the Safety Department to make sure that all appropriate mitigation actions are implemented and the appropriate action is taken,
•Make sure that the work has been done within the Companies HSE Requirements and Quality Procedures,
•Need to do daily planning of field activities, to make sure that the Progress of the project is running on schedule,
•During this time I also liaise with the Client, Project Management, Engineers and Supervisors, on a daily basis,
•Give them daily and Weekly Progress reports,
•I liaise also with the Drawing Department in the case of any clashes on the field that we receive in order for them to make up As Build Drawings and Modifications as per the Clients Request and approval,
•I have good Technical, team and Interpersonal skills,

I am a Qualified Boilermaker by trade, and in March of this year I did my CSWIP Visual Welding Level 1 Inspector course which I have successfully past. I have more than 10 years of working experience in the Engineering Industry, this is mostly in Fabrication workshops, Dock yards, Marine Ship building , Power stations ,Drill Riggs, Refinery`s and for the last five years Offshore in Angola. My duties was to fabricate, reinstate and erecting of different steel structures and frames from I-Beams, Channel, plate or pipe.

I am a hard working, reliable, honest, and truthful person, with a grate concern over the health and safety of my workforce. I can work on my own, and I work well with my fellow workers or my management. I always strife to do my best at what I do, or what I want to achieve in life. I am a good problem solver.
