Responsibilities as Assistant Manager:

• To perform different quality checks during manufacturing and formation processes.
• Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), Hazard Identification (HAZID)
• Detailed design of Fire protection systems, Fire proofing, Fire & Gas systems, Safety equipment, Life Saving Equipment, Hazardous area classification, escape routes.
• Prepare Safety design basis and Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Philosophies.
• Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to on-going chemical reactions.
• Determine most effective arrangement of operations, such as mixing, crushing, heat transfer, distillation, and drying.
• Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management.
• Direct activities of workers who operate or who are engaged in constructing and improving absorption, evaporation, or electromagnetic equipment.
• Perform laboratory studies of steps in manufacture of new product and test proposed process in small scale operation (pilot plant).
• Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases using controlled chemical processes.
• Perform all tasks/activities relevant to the company, assigned by the Management as required.
• Review and regularly update company's HSE documentation, procedure, equipment etc.
• Work closely with the Site HSE Managers and Engineers to update and maintain the Technical Site Risk Registers
• As an internal expert, conduct Safety Reviews and carry out safety studies such a consequence modeling for dispersion, radiation, explosion by utilising appropriate safety software's.Principal Accountabilities: Act as a risk management subject matter expert..
• Develops and implements inspection acceptance and rejection criteria as well as maintenance procedures for newly qualified equipment.
• Implementation of standard HSE practices.
• Performance of all vessel work in accordance with safe work practices, policies and procedures
• Monitoring proper operation and condition of equipment and the maintenance of proper watertight integrity of the vessel
• PFDs and heat and mass balances P&ID development
