• Technical evaluation of catalysts & chemicals used in the unit.
• Hydraulic study of different modifications in the unit.
• HAZOP study of process changes of unit.
• Heat & material balance for the unit.
• Monitoring of equipments.
• Catalyst performance analysis & remaining life calculation of catalyst.
• Simulation & trouble shooting of unit issues.
• Preparing daily & monthly monitoring report for ISOM & Hydrogen unit.
• Doing material & Energy balance for HMU & ISOM unit.
• Preparing daily refinery Hydrogen balance.
• Calculating & optimizing specific energy consumption in unit.
• Hydrogen optimisation in the refinery.
• Unit yield estimation.
• Feasibility check of processing of different feed to the unit.
• Familiar with Pro-II, KBC-Petrosim & HTRI software.
• Familiar with Start-up and shutdown of unit.
• Communication with Licensor for unit reliability.
• Familiar with DCS.
• Knowledge of all interlocks and trip logics of plant.
• Taking the corrective action for any deviation of Process Parameter in consultation with Operation Manager.
• Co-ordination with quality Assurance Dept for Analysis report and taking corrective action for maintaining the parameters.
• Executed Plant Start-up and Shutdown taking all safety precautions.
• Responsible for installation of HTER internals safely.
• Involved in isometric checking of HMU.
• Involved in preparation of flushing plan for various systems in HMU.
• Involved in preparation of pocket manual for HMU.
• Involved in PSSR for various systems.
• Involved in Catalyst Loading for all the reactors in HMU.
• Involved in Dense Catalyst Loading for HTER (Heat Exchange Reformer) for HMU.
• Involved in DCS loop checking
